SAUSAGE AND PEPPERS 
6-8 good size peppers
3-5 lbs. sausage
2 pieces garlic
2 cans crushed or puree tomatoes
Oil
Mushrooms, sliced
Salt
Pepper
Basil

Cut peppers and sausage into chunks. Heat oil with garlic in large saucepan. Fry sausage until brown; remove. Drain. Do same for peppers. Remove excess oil from pan and add tomatoes, salt, pepper and basil to your taste. Start to simmer; add browned sausage and pepper and sliced mushrooms. Let simmer 1 hour in semi-covered pan.
