STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE DESSERT | |
Tear an angel food cake into bite size pieces and line them in a 9"x13" baking dish. Make a creamy mixture of 8 ounces softened cream cheese, 1/3 cup lemon juice and 1 can sweetened condensed milk and pour over cake pieces. Follow directions for a fruit glaze using Danish Dessert (strawberry) and water. Add 2 pints fresh strawberries after mixture cools and pour over cream cheese mixture. Chill until set. Garnish with whipped cream if desired. |
