DUTCH APPLE PIE | |
1/4 c. butter 7 tart cooking apples 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. butter 3/4 c. flour 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/3 c. brown sugar Unbaked pie shell Melt 1/4 cup butter in saucepan. Toss sliced apples in it until well coated. Combine 3/4 cup sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and pour over apples. Toss lightly. Put in unbaked pie shell. Combine 1/2 cup butter, flour, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon and brown sugar and blend until crumbly. Sprinkle over top of apples and bake 20 minutes at 450 degrees then 20 minutes at 325 degrees. |
