DUTCH APPLE PIE 
9 inch pie crust
4-5 c. apples, sliced thin
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. butter
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Pinch of salt

Place apples in crust, using a deep pie pan. Mix all other ingredients together and sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 50-60 minutes. This is an old German recipe.
