SOUTHERN PECAN PIE 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
1/4 c. butter, melted
3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. pecans, chopped
Unbaked 9-inch pie shell

Mix sugar, syrup, and butter; add eggs and pecans. Fill pie shell. Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
