FREEZER COLE SLAW 
1 head cabbage (med. size)
1 carrot
1 green pepper
Celery
Onion

Shred cabbage, cover with water and add 1/4 c. salt. Let stand 1 to 2 hours. Grate carrot, green pepper, celery, onion. Drain water and squeeze the excess water from the cabbage. Add the other vegetables and mix. Then add syrup.

SYRUP:

2 c. sugar
3/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water

Bring to boil and boil for 5 minutes. Let cool and pour over cabbage. Put in container and freeze. You may refreeze if desired.
