MOM'S FREEZER COLESLAW 
1 gal. cabbage, shredded
1 tbsp. salt
1 sweet pepper, chopped
2 carrots, chopped
1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. vinegar
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed

Mix cabbage and salt well. Allow to stand one hour. Add vinegar and sugar to boiling water. Boil 1 minute and cool. Squeeze salt water out of cabbage and discard liquid. Add chopped pepper, carrots and celery seed to cabbage. Add cooled liquid and mix well. Let stand 30 minutes. Package and freeze.
