1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 c. fresh bread crumbs
1 med. onion, chopped
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 sm. can tomato sauce

Lightly mix preceding ingredients. Form into loaf. Place in pan in 350 degree oven. While it's starting to bake, combine the following to make a "sweet-sour" sauce that's out of this world.

1/2 can tomato sauce
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar or molasses
1/2 - 1 c. water

Pour over meat loaf in oven. Continue baking for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until done. Baste with sauce occasionally. Makes 6 servings.
