ZESTY MEAT LOAF | |
1 tbsp. prepared mustard 1 tbsp. molasses 1 tbsp. vinegar 1/4 c. ketchup 1 egg, beaten 1/2 c. oatmeal 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. thyme 1/8 tsp. oregano 1/8 tsp. celery seed 1/8 tsp. nutmeg 1 lb. ground chuck Combine mustard, molasses and vinegar in large bowl. Reserve 1 tablespoon for glaze. Add remaining ingredients to mustard mixture and mix well. Shape into loaf and place in foil lined and sprayed pan. Spread reserved glaze over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. (If desired, place sliced Mozzarella cheese on baked meat loaf and return to oven until melted.) |
