SAUSAGE AND EGG CASSEROLE | |
Good to make in the morning for later! 1 lb. bulk sausage 6 slices white bread, crusts removed Softened butter 1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese 5 eggs 2 c. half & half 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard Cook sausage over medium heat until done, stirring to crumble well. Drain on paper towels and set aside. Spread each slice of bread with butter, cut into cubes. Place bread cubes in a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; sprinkle with sausage and top with cheese. Combine remaining ingredients; beat well and pour over mixture in pan. Chill at least 3 hours; remove from refrigerator. Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 40 to 50 minutes. 6 servings. |
