TURKEY IN THE STRAW 
1 (12 oz.) pkg. noodles
4 c. or more turkey or chicken, chopped
1 c. frozen peas
1 c. frozen carrots, diced
Broth from turkey

WHITE SAUCE:

2 c. milk
4 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. onion salt
1/2 c. butter
1 tbsp. chicken base or bouillon
Pepper to taste

Cook noodles in salted water until done. Drain. Mix with turkey, peas, and carrots, broth and white sauce. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle buttered bread crumbs on top. Bake in 350 degree oven until bubbly and brown.
