CRANBERRY WALNUT BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 c. cranberries (cut in half)
Juice & rind of orange
Boiling water
2 tbsp. butter
1 egg, beaten
1 c. walnuts, chopped

Sift dry ingredients together. Add boiling water to orange juice, butter and rind to make 3/4 cup liquid. Combine liquid and egg with dry ingredients. Fold in cranberries and nuts. Bake in buttered bread pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour.
