MICROWAVE FUDGE 
1 c. cocoa
2 lb. 10x sugar
1/2 c. homogenized milk
2 sticks butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 to 1 c. chopped nuts, optsp.

Sift cocoa and sugar in a large mixing bowl. Add milk and lay butter sticks on top. Do not stir. Cook on High for 6 minutes. Remove from microwave and stir thoroughly. Add vanilla flavoring and nuts. Stir until well mixed. Pour onto buttered platter. Cool in refrigerator for 1 hour. Cut and serve. Do not double this recipe.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
