 KidCook says:
I tried these substituting Crisco for lard and accidentally putting in two tablespoons of baking soda and baking powder. With doing that, these were the best cookies I've ever had!

I used this for my son's V-Day party at school, very good cookies but I subbed crisco for the lard, and I added 1 cup Chocolate chips, 1/2 cup peanut butter chips, and 1/2 cup vanilla chips. Very very good!!!!

Used whole milk instead of water, Cisco instead of lard, then added a box of instant vanilla pudding as the dough was very soft... Cookies are disappearing very fast!
