| BASIC QUICK AND EASY YELLOW CAKE | |

2/3 c. shortening 1 1/4 c. sugar 2 1/4 c. flour (self rising) 1 c. milk 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 2 round pans or a 9 x 13 inch pan. Add all ingredients, mix until smooth. Pour in pans and bake in oven for 30 minutes. One of my favorites. | |
