11 slices wheat bread, toasted & cut into 1/2 inch cubes 11 slices white bread, toasted & cut into 1/2 inch cubes 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning 1 can (10 3/4 oz) cream of chicken soup 1 3/4 cups water 1 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 1/4 cup butter Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine bread and poultry seasoning; set aside. Combine soup, water, onion, celery, pepper and butter in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring occasionally. Pour soup mixture over seasoned bread; mix well and pour into a 13x9x2-inch greased baking pan. Bake 25-30 minutes or fill a 15-17 pound turkey just before roasting. ** For a drier stuffing, decrease water 1/4 cup. For more moist stuffing, increase water 1/4 cup. Submitted by: Becky Berg |
