SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE 
3 c. mashed yams or sweet potatoes (fresh or canned)
1 c. granulated sugar
2/3 stick butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix well and put in greased casserole dish.

TOPPING:

1 c. brown sugar
2 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. flour
1/2 stick soft butter

Mix well and spread over sweet potato mixture. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees until bubbly and brown about 30 to 45 minutes.
