CRUNCHY ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1 c. light brown sugar
1 stick butter, melted
2 1/2 c. crushed cornflakes
1 c. nuts (optional)

Add brown sugar to butter and mix well. Add cornflakes and nuts. Place 1/2 mixture into 9 x 13 pan. Add 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream or other flavor. Spread or sprinkle remaining mixture on top and freeze.
