CHUCK ROAST SANDWICHES | |
3 to 5 lb. chuck roast 1/2 lg. can tomato juice Place meat (can be frozen) and tomato juice into roasting pan. Cover. Cook at 250 degrees for 6-8 hours. Discard any bone and fat. With 2 forks, pull the meat apart and stir into the juices in the roasting pan. Serve on sandwich buns. This recipe makes enough for about a dozen generous sandwiches. Can be made ahead and frozen in smaller batches. |
