CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES 
CAKE LAYER:

1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
4 eggs
16 oz. chocolate syrup

Combine and beat until smooth.

MINT LAYER:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. mint extract
3 drops green food color

Combine and beat until smooth.

CHOCOLATE LAYER:

6 tbsp. butter
1 c. mini chocolate chips (I've used reg. size also)

Melt over low heat and cool.

Bake cake ingredients in greased 13x9 inch pan at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. Be sure batter is not higher in center. Cool completely. Pour on mint layer and chill. Smooth on chocolate layer. Chill. Cut into small squares. (It's rich!) Keep chilled.
