BEAN WITH HAM SOUP | |
4 (15 oz. ea.) cans great northern beans 2 cans water (use empty bean can) 4-5 potatoes, chopped in small 1/2-inch squares 2 sliced carrots 2-3 celery stalks 1 onion, chopped 1-2 ham steaks, diced (depending on size) dash of Tabasco sauce dash of liquid smoke salt and pepper, to taste Combine all ingredients in large soup pan, with 2 cans of water, salt an pepper to taste. Simmer on medium to medium-low until all vegetables are soft. You can adjust Tabasco and liquid smoke amounts to your taste to give it a little more kick. Enjoy!! Submitted by: Carrie |
