QUICKIE CHICKEN AND RICE 
1 (2 or 3 lb.) broiler, cut up into portion-sized pieces
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Accent
1 tsp. paprika
1 c. packaged instant rice
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 (10 oz.) can cream of chicken soup
2 c. warm water

Wipe the chicken pieces with paper toweling. Mix the salt, pepper, Accent and paprika together and sprinkle the pieces of chicken well. Set them aside.

Mix together the rice, soup mix, soup and water. Let stand for 5 minutes, then pour into a 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Put the pieces of seasoned chicken on top of the mixture. Place, uncovered, in a 350 degree oven and bake for 45 minutes, or until the rice is puffed up and the chicken is tender. Serve at once, piping hot. Serves 4.
