5 FLAVORS POUND CAKE | |
2 sticks butter 1/2 c. Crisco 3 c. sugar 3 c. plain flour 1 tsp. baking powder 1 c. sweet milk 5 eggs 1 tsp. butternut flavoring 1 tsp. lemon flavoring 1 tsp. almond flavoring 1 tsp. coconut flavoring 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring Mix flour and baking powder together by sifting; set aside. Cream first 3 ingredients together; then add 1 egg at a time, mixing well between them. Then alternate flour and milk, beating well after each time. Add 1 flavoring at a time. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan, and bake 1 to 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. |
