CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
Cook cabbage until tender. Peel leaves and place a row of cabbage on the bottom of a buttered casserole, then put about 2 teaspoons soft butter over cabbage (spread), then sprinkle with bread crumbs, then place abut 3 slices of Velveeta cheese on top of this. Repeat - 1 layer cabbage, butter, crumbs and cheese (make as many layers as you want).

Cover with foil and bake about 25 minutes in 325 degree oven. Take foil off and let brown slightly on top.
