CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
Cut up a head of cabbage, coarsely (pieces not too small). Cook in salted water just until wilted (5 to 8 minutes). Make thick cheese sauce.

In casserole put layer of cabbage, layer of sauce, layer of cabbage, layer of sauce, etc. Run a knife through half a dozen or more times to mix. Put a thin layer of cheese and crushed corn flakes on top and bake just until it browns on top.
