BEEF & CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lg. head cabbage (4 lbs.)
1/4 c. salad oil
1/4 tsp. salt
1 lb. ground beef
1 sm. onion
1 (32 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
1 c. water
1/3 c. rice, uncooked
1 (8 oz.) Mozzarella cheese, grated

In a large kettle heat and cook cabbage in oil until tender, stirring once in a while. Meanwhile, saute the meat until browned. Add sauce, water and rice. Heat to boiling. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until rice is tender. Layer meat sauce, cabbage and cheese. Repeat layers. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
