COPENHAGEN CABBAGE CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. minced onion
1 (16 oz.) can unseasoned tomato sauce
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1 med. head cabbage, shredded

Brown meat and onion, drain off fat. Add next 4 ingredients. Put half the cabbage in 2-quart casserole, next add half the sauce, add remaining cabbage, then the sauce. Cover, and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.

NOTE: Make sure that sauce is not Italian seasoned and do not add any more than stated amount of cinnamon and cloves, at least for your first trial.

Been making it for years but lost my recipe. Glad to find. Helpful for any diet or diabetic plan. You can add some sweeter if desired. I am trying it with some chili-infused honey.....
