I didnt have corn syrup so I used regular pancake syrup and added just a few walnuts and a tablespoon of peanutbutter. WONDERFUL recipe. Thanks so much!

I made this with normal granulated sugar instead of powdered and it still turned out great. Definitely will make again!

Made this recipe today - from pot to pan in under 10 minutes - and it was SO GOOD! I think I'm keeping this recipe on hand :) Added a touch of cinnamon just because I like that, and it was delicious!

I LOVE this recipe, and refuse to get a new one. I've made it about five times or so.. but every time it comes out really hard and its IMPOSSIBLE to cut. I use butter flavored pancake syrup instead of corn syrup (it seems to a add a certain flavor that I LOVE). So, my question is, is there a way to soften it up a bit? Does the pancake syrup make a difference?

Dear Hope, you are probably cooking the fudge at to high a heat and for to long. Try a med heat around 275°F when it come to a low boil cook for one minute and remove from heat then add the powdered sugar and vanilla stir together and turn into pan lined with foil when cool and set turn out and cut with pizza cutter and store in airtight bin.

I am 61. When I was 15 I tried making fudge. Your recipe is wonderful, sets good and tastes great. I will be keeping this wonderful recipe and making it again. Thank you so much! Vicky

I have never reviewed a recipe before. But this one deserves a review. The fudge is really good and very easy to make. I only suggest pour in one cup of icing sugar then stir it until it's melted then repeat the process two more times. There was unmelted sugar clumps in my fudge but it is still good. This really is a no fail fudge recipe.

This recipe reminds om of my aunts fudge.. This is the best recipe I've found.. Loved it!

The fudge is delicious. I tried pouring the icing sugar in slowly, but still I get clumps. Any suggestions?

I use a hand held mixer to mix in the powdered sugar... low to medium speed. This makes it blend together perfectly.

Just made this fudge, I swear its the best I have ever made (I am 74 years old, made lots of it) and I know its the best I have ever tasted. Extremely easy and absolutely amazing!
