PIGS IN A BLANKET 
4 lbs. (1/4 inch) round steak
1 med. onion, chopped
6 to 8 slices bacon, cut into pieces
Salt & pepper to taste

Cut 1/4 inch thick round steak into 2 inch by 1 inch strips. Pound a little to tenderize. On each strip put approximately, 1 teaspoon onion, 1/4 to 1/3 slice of bacon, salt & pepper. Roll up strip with onion, bacon, salt and pepper in center. Secure with toothpicks. Roll in flour and brown in butter. Add 1 to 2 cups water and allow to simmer slowly for 3 or 4 hours.

What I do after browning, I add water and then cover and bake in oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
