6 slices bread, toasted & cut into pieces
1/2 c. melted butter
4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. raisins
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. milk

In lightly greased 9 x 13 pan, place bread pieces. Pour melted butter over and set aside. Beat eggs. Combine the sugar, salt and vanilla; add to milk. Pour milk mixture over eggs, then pour resulting mixture over bread. Sprinkle cinnamon and raisins over top. Bake at 300 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or a sauce of your choice.
