BREAD PUDDING 
5 slices day old bread toasted & buttered
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs, beaten
3 c. milk, scalded
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Stir all but 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon into beaten eggs. Add milk; mix well. Sprinkle toast with the 2 tablespoons sugar mixed with 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Pour milk mixture over toast. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
