STEPHENSON'S APPLE CAKE 
Cream until light:

1 c. butter
2 eggs

Add:

1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
5 cups fresh sliced apples
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 cup chopped nuts

Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.

FROSTING:

3 oz. cream cheese
2 oz. butter
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream well. Spread on cake.
