EL DORADO BEEF CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. instant minced onion
2 cans tomato sauce (lg.)
1 c. sliced ripe olives
1 c. (1/2 pt.) sour cream
1 c. small curd cottage cheese
1 (3 oz.) can chilies (grated) seeded
1 pkg. (6 1/2 oz.) tortilla chips
2 c. (1/2 lb.) grated Monterey Jack cheese

Brown meat, drain. Add onion, garlic salt, tomato sauce and olives. Combine sour cream, cottage cheese and chilies. Crush tortilla chips slightly, reserving some for garnish. Monterey Jack cheese.

Place 1/2 of chips on bottom of well-buttered 2 1/2 quart casserole dish. Add 1/2 of beef mixture, cover with 1/2 sour cream mixture. Sprinkle with 1/2 of the grated cheese. Repeat layers.

Bake uncovered in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until bubbly. Garnish with whole tortilla chips.
