OLD FASHIONED CHEWY BROWNIES 
2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks butter, melted
3 eggs
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa

Mix together and spread into 8 or 9 inch square greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. Cut into squares while warm.

Looks are deceiving. This brownie may look dry on the outside, but my oh my, it is chewy and good. Take heed because it is on the verge of being too sweet. I used 1 c of margarine instead of butter, just because that's what I had on hand.

I was craving brownies and didn't feel like going to the store. I found this recipe and had all the ingredients! Before baking I added crumbled on the go oatmeal bars. After cooling, I had the most hearty, chewy, and a sweet apple cinnamon topping!! Never buy brownie mix again!
