BEEF - PIQUANT 
Beef chuck, cut in strips 3x1" (about 3 lb.)
2 lg. sliced onions
1/3 c. vinegar
1/2 c. brown sugar
Salt & pepper
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 c. water
1/2 c. wine

Brown meat. Add sliced onions. Add vinegar, brown sugar, seasonings, tomatoes, water and wine. Bake for 2 1/2 to 3 hours at 325 degrees. Serve over rice or wide noodles.
