1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. milk
1/4 c. butter, softened
1 egg
6 oz. pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour 9x13 inch pan. In large bowl, combine cake mix, milk, butter, and egg. Stir in chips and walnuts. Batter will be very thick. Spread in prepared pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Cool completely; cut into bars. Makes 36 bars.
