In a 12 inch square cake pan, pour 1 (18 1/2 ounce) can of pie filling (blackberry or cherry recommended). Pour and level the contents of a 18 1/2 ounce cake mix on top (recommend dark fudge mix). Bake one hour in 325 degree oven, preheated.

OPTIONAL: Cut 1/4 pound butter in pats and place on top of mix before inserted in oven. May be topped with whipped cream or ice cream just before serving.
