BREAKFAST CASSEROLE | |
6 eggs 2 c. milk 1 tsp. dry mustard 2 slices white bread, cubed 1/2 tsp. salt 1 lb. pork sausage 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese Saute sausage and drain. Beat eggs. Add milk, salt, and mustard to eggs and beat well. Into greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish, layer the bread cubes, sausage, and cheese. Pour egg and milk mixture over top. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. If desired, casserole may be frozen. If so, bake only 30 minutes. Cool. Freeze. When ready to use, thaw in refrigerator overnight and reheat for 30 minutes. Serves 8-10. |
