APPLE PUDDING 
1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. chopped nuts
2 c. diced, peeled apples
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Blend in egg. Add the sifted dry ingredients. Fold in apples and nuts. Bake 1 hour in 350 degree oven in 8" or 9" square greased pan.

SAUCE:

1 c. brown sugar
2 tbsp. flour or cornstarch
1 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. water
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend and cook ingredients about 10 minutes. Cool and beat. Top with whipped cream. Good without sauce tool.
