1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
2 c. diced apples
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

Mix dry ingredients first, add others. Bake in greased 6x10 inch pan at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

I double recipe (3 apples) and use large Pyrex pan. Bake a little longer so not soggy in the middle.
