CRYSTAL'S FRIED CABBAGE 
Goes great with sweet cornbread!

6 slices bacon (I use thick-cut)
1 head of cabbage, cored and cut into cubes
1 bell pepper, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
3 cloves fresh garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Mrs. Dash spicy seasoning

In a very large skillet cook bacon until crisp. Remove the bacon and set aside.

Keep bacon fat and add cabbage to same pan and cook at medium heat, as the cabbage is cooking add bell peppers, onions, garlic and seasonings. Cook for 15 minutes or longer if you want your cabbage softer. Crumble bacon and add to cabbage.

Makes 6 servings.
