2 lb. ground beef chuck
1 egg
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
1 beef bouillon cube (or 1 tsp. beef soup base)
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 cup onion, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
1 cup cracker crumbs
6 to 8 small potatoes, peeled

Combine all ingredients, except potatoes, in a large bowl. Shape into a loaf. Season with salt and pepper. Place in Crock-Pot.

Wrap potatoes in aluminum foil and place in Crock-Pot.

Cover and cook on the LOW setting for 7 to 10 hours.

VARIATIONS (Choose One):

1. Omit gravy mix and milk - add one 8-ounce can tomato sauce.
2. Add 1 packet of Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix.
3. Add 1 can Campbell's Mushroom Soup with 1 can water.

Cook as above.
