BETH'S BEST EVER FUDGE PIE | |
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted 3 cups sugar 6 tbsp. cocoa 4 eggs 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk (Carnation) 2 tsp. vanilla 2 (9-inch) unbaked pie shells Preheat oven to 400°F. Melt butter in a heavy saucepan. Add sugar and cocoa. Stir well and add eggs. Stir mixture, do not beat. Add evaporated milk and vanilla. Pour into two 9-inch unbaked pie shells. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes then reduce heat to 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until crust is brown. Makes 2 pies. Submitted by: Beth Smith |
