1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. sour dough See starter recipe
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg, sour dough and peanut butter. Sift and add flour, baking powder, soda and salt. Mix and drop by tsp. on greased cookie sheets; flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. 4 dozen.
