ELLEN'S GARLIC BREAD | |
1 long loaf Italian semolina bread (or French bread) salted butter garlic powder marjoram leaves Parmesan cheese Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice loaf of bread lengthwise. Spread butter liberally on each side. Sprinkle with garlic powder according to your taste. Sprinkle marjoram leaves over garlic powder. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Press both sides of bread together Lightly butter top half and sprinkle lightly with Parmesan cheese. Lightly wrap loaf in foil. Place in oven and allow to bake at 350°F for about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove from oven and turn oven to Broil. Open foil package and lay bread slices side-by-side. Toast lightly until slightly golden.
