BARBEQUED SPARE RIBS (IN OVEN) 
2 or more lbs. country style pork ribs

SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 c. water
1 c. ketchup
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Cut ribs into serving size pieces. Brown ribs slowly on all sides. Arrange singly in baking pan. Pour fat from skillet. Melt butter in skillet. Add onion and cook until soft. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Set oven at 350 degrees. Pour sauce over ribs and bake covered foil for 1 1/2 hours.
