APPLE CRISP | |
5 to 6 granny smith apples 1/2 box dry yellow cake mix 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar, for sprinkling Preheat oven to 350°F. Peel and slice the apples about a 1/2-inch thick. Spray pie dish lightly with non-stick cooking spray (Pam). Line the bottom with apple slices and then pour the dry cake mix over top. Cut the butter into pats and spread over top of the cake mix, then sprinkle cinnamon sugar over top. Bake at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes until golden brown. Note: For cinnamon sugar, add 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon to 1/2 cup sugar. Submitted by: Judy Brannock |
