NO PEEK CHICKEN 
2 1/2 lb. fryer, cut up and trimmed
2 c. uncooked rice (not instant)
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can cream of chicken soup
3 cans water
Salt and pepper and dill

Mix rice, soup and water. Spread on bottom of a roasting pan. Place chicken on top of rice mixture. Sprinkle on salt, pepper and dill to taste. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Don't peek.

P.S. Pork chops and pork tenderloin also work out quite well in this dish.
