DOVES LAFOURCHE 
12 doves
12 strips of bacon
2-3 c. red wine
1/2 c. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. water
1 lg. onion
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper

Season doves with garlic powder, salt and pepper. Wrap each dove in bacon. Place doves in large roaster. Put wine, Worcestershire sauce and water in roaster. Slice onion on top of doves. Marinate overnight or 8 to 10 hours before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 2 to 3 hours or until tender. If doves begin to dry, add more water or wine.
