2 c. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2/3 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Cream shortening and sugar together; add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Add flour, salt, and baking powder. Add vanilla. Mix until thoroughly mixed. Chill at least 2 hours. Make a little dough into a ball; put on greased cookie sheet; flatten with the bottom of a glass. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool.
